


The Big Apple has perhaps the largest local breakfast menu, the Prime Quarter Steak House's grill-your-own steaks and seafood are hard to beat, Anna Maria's Pizza always has great Italian food. Everything is made fresh the same day. Some consider the sausage pizza at the Pizza Cellar the best in Bureau County. Wise Guys offers a variety of tastes to satisfy any palate but they pride themselves on their steak and seafood. Pick up some delicious homemade fudge at the Covered Bridge Fudge Shop in the Amtrak station. Kramer's Kitchen has a wide selection of delectable sandwiches with a unique order placing system. Sweeties caramel corn and chocolate creations are well worth a stop. Oriental Garden is the place to satisfy that Chinese food craving. Three Olive Bar & Grill on Rt. 6 between Princeton and Wyanet has great steaks, daily specials, and a large salad bar. Try Java on Main for a great cup of coffee, bagels, and much more. Frozerts (frozen yogurt) and Didoughs (delicous pretzels) are two new palate pleasing establishments you'll want to try when they open this Spring. The Park Tavern's great food has been a local favorite since 1934!
While in Cherry, or nearby, make the Cherry Supper Club, with its casual and pleasant surroundings, an evening stop. A large salad bar and soup start a meal off right with entrees and specials completing the menu. Just up the street is Bruno's. The chicken parmesan and pork chops are some of the more popular items!
Ladd offers some great eateries with varied offerings. Cars line the street virtually every night because the fare (besides being delicious) is very reasonable. Kids are welcome and more than a few anniversaries and birthdays are celebrated in Ladd.
The Walnut Café is a great place to grab a meal with daily specials in ample portions all at reasonable prices!
Mark and Deb offer their patrons Italian fare of the highest order at Geno V's. The eggplant and chicken parmesan are a real delight, while their homemade blue cheese dressing is to die for (according to some). Take the frontage road (sign indicating Dalzell) south of I-80. Go west and south 2.3 miles to Geno V's.
If you get hungry while going to or through Wyanet, you should try the BBQ, pork tenderloin, or pulled pork sandwich with sides at Main Stree BBQ. Take home some of that awesome sauce! No one ever left hungry from the Eagle's Nest Cafe, a restaurant noted for its huge portions and home cooked fare.
Chestnut Street Inn's award winning owners, Jeff and Monika, make sure their guests have the very best of accommodations and food. Chef Monika excells! Chef Eran Salzmann, of ZBest Café on Main, has won his share of awards, too. Eran attributes his geat food to the love he puts into preparing it. He's right! It's another of Bureau County's special places. Red's Bar & Grill (formerly the 6 & 34 Restaurant) is a casual, comfortable place that families enjoy. The John's Sheffield Diner, just north of I-80 Exit 40, provides hearty American fare. Hidden Lake Golf Club has lunch specials served daily and dinner served Friday thru Sunday.
Valley Bar & Grill treats its patrons to some great specials each and every day. Dan, Sue, and Mary, too, delight their guests with all the great selections. The solution? Visit often! Their cherry cheesecake is not to be missed!
Tillie's Bar & Grill has an outside patio to sit back and relax. And the prime rib served on the weekend is one of the best. Daily specials during the week are featured and devoured by the locals.
