The Canal Fun Day, held at the Hennepin Canal Lock & Dam 11, features fishing and casting derbies, prizes, and free food. This is a real treat for the kids especially, and most will have excellent luck no matter what the bait. It's a real family outing for a few hours or the whole day. Registration for the derbies begins at 8 a.m. with events starting at 9 a.m.
